There is still hope

 

As long as a new day breaks

Inspite of your mistakes

There is still hope.

 

As long as the sun shines in the sky

Though mountains of life seem so high

There is still hope.

 

As long as you are still breathing

Despite hard knocks life is bringing

There is still hope.

 

As long as you wake up each new day

and for one minute just pray

There is still hope.

 

Don’t look at the challenges

Focus on lots of positives

There is still hope.

 

What do you want in Life? 

See it, Feel it, Believe it

Poem – Why go Green?

Why go Green?

 

I’m not referring to Green Environment

I mean going Green with envy.

It’s hard to celebrate a friend’s accomplishment

You’re secretly thinking “why couldn’t it be me?”

 

Be happy for friends and family when they are celebrating

Why begrudge them happiness?

As you do, Angels are pointing at you saying:

“This is the next person, God has to Bless”.

Poem – Life’s Journey

Life’s Journey

I’m still plodding along each day

but what if I have already lost my way…

Should I have taken another turn?

Or am I on the right path and simply carry on?

A few times, I’ve reached cross roads

Not knowing which one “truly” leads to my goals.

But I carry on, sometimes blindly

and pray that God is behind me.

They say: “Live life to the full”

I hope not to live like a fool.

It’s only once – this life’s journey

So, I pray thee, be kind  to me

Why would you throw in the Towel now?

because of problems and “a little” stress?

Under the pressure you let your knees bow

Some problems are the price of Progress.

Find the inner strength, now’s not the time to digress.

1) Poem – Look Deeper

I wrote this poem because a lot of times we are quick to point fingers and judge others, not taking time to find out if there is an underlying issue. A lot of alcoholics today started on the bottle because they were depressed, maybe couldn’t cope with a bad relationship gone wrong or had a bereavement etc.

I wrote this because I truly believe that Angels live amongst us – only they might not necessarily have Angels wings. We should be mindful of how we treat people. It could be an angel in disguise. It could even be an Angel sent to bless you.

This was written because we live our lives only once and some of us spend so much time worrying or not living in the moment. We should appreciate the smallest of things.  Sunset in the morning, a walk in a beautiful park. Spending time doing things that make us happy. We can’t ever bring back yesterday.

5) Poem – You are not a Mistake

There are people in life who learnt that they were actually an unwanted baby. (I think its cruel for a mother to tell this to a child). Just because the timing was wrong and they had to sacrifice a lot of time on the child doesn’t mean they have to feel so much bitterness. This is deeply hurting and can weigh people down in life. I’m grateful for parents who love me, but I wrote this to encourage people whose mum or dad just can’t stand the sight of them.

Dying young – the patient had a romantic plan.

 

Erin Brock – didn’t know you had the balls

Step mom – she was mean

but in the name of love you were so keen.

Poem – Why can’t We?

Why can’t we?

 

Why can’t we all live in Peace?

Without a blimmin Suicide bomber!

Who believes it’s the will of his “maker”.

 

Why can’t we all be happily married?

Live happily ever after

As most marriages end up in disaster.

 

Why can’t we all live without diseases?

Little babies returning to heaven

Within days of being born.  😦

 

Why can’t we all have homes to live in?

Instead, some sleep on the streets with a mouse

and some  live comfy in a Pent House.

 

Why can’t we all be Presidents?

Actually, lets forget this one

Not sure there’s room on top for everyone.

 

Why can’t we all have money?

Not necessarily “minted”

Just enough to keep us out of debt!

 

…. and why can’t I eat all the Chocolate I want?

without having to count the calories

frequently asking: Does my bum look big in this?”

 

Why can’t we  just have it all and be Happy??
