Poem – Why go Green?

Why go Green?

I’m not referring to Green Environment

I mean going Green with envy.

It’s hard to celebrate a friend’s accomplishment

You’re secretly thinking “why couldn’t it be me?”

Be happy for friends and family when they are celebrating

Why begrudge them happiness?

As you do, Angels are pointing at you saying:

“This is the next person, God has to Bless”.

  6. “But, why must I go green with envy when I can go white with peace or red with love?”

Oftentimes, when we don’t define our values properly, we end up going green over the achievement of a loved one.

    So lovely, sis.

    I’m in love with this.

I need the html code for a link back, please. 😉

      • You are always welcome, Lady Elena and we both know that you are the madam in this field. Oftentimes, I just have to unlearn some of my writing techniques, then, I learn from you (confession time).

        Guess what?

You won’t believe that about 40% of the avatars of those who dropped their comments on this particular poem are green in color.
